Since 2010, I have been a trusted partner for individuals, couples, and families seeking healing, growth, and balance in their personal lives and relationships. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Qualified Supervisor, I am deeply committed to creating a supportive and empowering space where clients feel seen, understood, and equipped to move forward with confidence and purpose.
Throughout my career, I have been honored to be recognized as Counselor of the Year by a professional counseling organization and have presented at counseling conferences on topics including clinician empowerment, mindfulness, burnout prevention, and advocacy in mental health. I currently serve as President of the TACES division of a professional counseling association and have also been featured in Psychology Today for my personal resiliency in facing adverse circumstances.
At New Avenue Counseling (NAC), we believe healing is not just about overcoming the past, it’s about creating a future that feels meaningful, healthy, and fulfilling. Life does not always follow the path we planned, and sometimes the unexpected can leave us feeling overwhelmed or stuck. Our mission is to help you navigate those difficult seasons with compassion, clarity, and practical support so you can move toward the life you deserve.
Beyond my clinical work, I am also passionate about animal rescue and advocacy. I serve as Vice President of a 501(c)(3) dog rescue organization and have spent nearly a decade volunteering to save, rehabilitate, and advocate for animals in need. This work reflects the same compassion, dedication, and belief in healing that I bring to my counseling practice every day.
